Overview

Birdseye Baltimore ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Majestic Light. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and application (collectively, the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information — When you sign up, we receive your email address and profile information from Clerk, our authentication provider.
• Billing information — If you subscribe to Birdseye Pro, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and customer ID, not your full card number.
• Usage data — We log camera view events to enforce free-tier quotas and improve the Service. We may also collect anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics.
• Location you search — Address searches are sent to our geocoding service to center the map. We do not persistently track your physical location.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide the map, manage subscriptions, enforce viewing limits, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Third-party services

We rely on Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Camera live feeds are embedded from third-party sources — your browser loads content directly from those servers. We do not re-host or record streams.

Camera content and takedown requests

Birdseye Baltimore aggregates publicly available camera locations and embeds live feeds only where an official public player exists. We do not claim ownership of any feed.

If you are a camera owner, broadcaster, government agency, or rights holder and want a camera listing or live feed removed, email team@majesticlight.org with the camera name, source, and reason for the request. We will review takedown requests promptly.

Data retention & your choices

We retain account data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us. You can sign out and manage subscriptions through the billing portal at any time.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13.
